Not this year, but in Heaven

God reminds us through the words of the Teacher of Ecclesiastes that pursuing satisfaction in a life centred on gain ‘under the sun’ is as achievable as grasping smoke. Yet in eternity with Christ we have all our deepest longings satisfied, and through trust in Him we can gladly enjoy his good gifts for what they really are in the short time he gives us in this broken world under the sun.
