Playing Our Part in God's Grand Story

Restoring The Nations

Are you passionate about prayer and International Missions?

Each month we have a segment in our regular Sunday service where we focus on International Missions. We also have prayer nights called "Contend' once per term where the church gathers to pray. One of the focuses of this time of corporate prayer is for local and international missions.

Please contact us for more details if you would like to join us.

In 2022 Restoration Church formed a partnership with an Acts 29 church in Nepal called Message of the Cross.

We encourage you to join us in praying for our brothers and sisters in Nepal and at Message of the Cross, including their Lead Pastor, Narayan.

As a church, we sponsor two Compassion children.
Satria is 9 years old and lives in Indonesia with his father, mother and one sibling.
Kansi is 6 years old and lives in Sri Lanka with her father, mother and two siblings.
We encourage our church to regularly pray for their families.

As of January 2024 there are over 170 Compassion children sponsored from 25 countries by people within our church.

Compassion Children

The countries where our families currently support Compassion children are in:
Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Philippines, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, Togo, Uganda.

Below are some ways that you could consider praying for other countries, their people, their faith and their leadership.
1. Pray that God will strengthen the body of believers in each country and that they will rely on Him in all they do. Pray specifically for those whose faith is being tested through heavy persecution.

2. Pray that God will soften the hearts and open the eyes of those who do not yet know Him in each country. Pray for anyone who persecutes our brothers and sisters, that they may trust in Jesus and have a personal relationship with Him.

3. Pray for God to guide the church leadership in each country through decisions that need to be made.

4. Pray for the political of each country, that they will know the One who truly reigns and makes decisions that glorify Him.

5. Pray that God will send His people to each country to spread the Gospel and further His kingdom. May the Bible be available to the people of this country in their native language.

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
Romans 12:12

1. How did the Gospel get to each country?
2. Are there any autobiographies or biographies written about
Christians who travelled to or lived in a specific country?
3. How is Christianity going in each country?
4. Are many people trusting in Jesus or has Christianity been stagnant for decades?
5. Is the government supportive of Christianity?
