The Spirit-inspired author of Ecclesiastes wrote that everything in life is Hevel...which is the Hebrew word for vapor or smoke.

It conveys the idea that everything is useless, temporary, incomprehensible, or a combination of the three.

In light of this bleak assessment...How should we live? And where does Jesus and the rest of the Bible fit into all this?
