What's Wrong With Having a Little Fun?

May 27, 2018    Difff Crowther

In the fourth part of the series, “That’s a Good Question”, Difff asks, “what’s wrong with having a little fun?” While rejecting the idea that Christianity should be a stoic ascetic religion wherein fun and pleasure are eschewed, reference to C.S. Lewis’ Screwtape Letters is used to understand the ways that humans are bad at having fun without taking it too far, and we come to recognize that God’s laws exist to help us to live according to reality.
