The elders of Restoration Church introduced formal membership into the church in late 2022. It is different to most other church memberships in that it only applies to those in specific Leadership roles within the church.
From the very early days of Restoration Church, there have been three key leadership groups: the elders, the leadership advisory group (LAG), and a broader leadership group comprised of anyone in leadership within the church. While the church is elder ruled by conviction, the elders have frequently and extensively consulted with the leadership advisory group and the broader leadership groups regarding church vision matters.
It has always been the intention of the elders to move towards church membership which now formalises the body of leaders with whom the elders consult.
