Leading Better

Description: This course is for those who want to think about leadership more deeply and move to higher levels of leadership in the church. It addresses how leaders use power, mission and vision casting, and the beginnings of finding, building, and leading teams of people.

Helping People Grow - P1
Lecturer: Peter Sondergeld
Description: This subject is focussed on equipping people with some basic biblical counselling skills so they can help those they come into contact with. It will give people some categories for understanding people, how to use scripture to help others, along with the skills associated with interacting with people who need help.
Content: The nature of the relationship between those needing help and those helping in the local church, Using scripture – sinner, sufferer, saint, Listening and talking to those in trouble.
Helping People Grow - P2

Description: David Powlison once wrote that 95% of people’s problems either have to do with anger, anxiety, or escape. In this unit you will get an introduction to a biblical understanding of each of these and how we can help others who are struggling with them.
